Kitzbühel and Kirchberg lie in the heart of the spectacular Kitzbüheler Alps.
Dating back over 700 years Kitzbühel is a historic Tirolean town with cobbled
streets and a colourful town centre. The town offers a wealth of modern
shops, quaint cafés and lively bars. Kirchberg, just 6km along the valley,
is the quieter neighbour set in stunning Brixen valley. There’s plenty to amuse
you around the area, including the nearby Schwarzsee, a strikingly beautiful
mountain lake or the fabulous Alpine flower garden, at the top of the
Kitzbühelerhorn. With two 18 hole golf courses, rugged mountain bike trails as
well as 180km of walking paths, it’s no wonder guests return year after year.

Kirchberg
Kirchberg lies in the Brixen valley, 6km from

lifts take you up into the mountains for
spectacular views and lovely walking trails. Lifts
are open approx. early July-mid Sept, journey
costs vary from approx. €6-€13.50 for adults
- beautiful bathing lake 5 minutes’ walk from
Kirchberg. There is a pool complex at the lake
with children’s pool, slides, restaurant and
play area.
- outdoor activities including horse riding,
mini-golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, fishing
(permits available locally) and bowling.
- Throughout the summer there are many
festivals, events in 2007 included the
Kirchberg village festival on 28th July, and
the amazing Tirol Balloon Cup, 15th-21st
September.
