Shopping in Malia is mainly souvenir based; just head into nearby Heraklion or Aghios Nikolaos for those designer bargains. Restaurants cater for all tastes, Chinese, Indian, Italian, good old English pub grub and of course, the odd Greek Taverna mingling amongst them.
