A bustling modern resort
Holidays to Paguera are located on the south west coast of Majorca, once a small fishing village, the resort has now developed into a bustling modern resort.
Together with Palma Nova, Santa Ponsa and Magaluf it makes up the district of Calvia. The area is rather hilly and may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. There are three beaches in Paguera, Playa La Romana, Playa Palmira and Playa Tora, and all have golden sand that gently flows in to the warm waters of the Mediterranean making safe swimming for children.
The beaches are joined by a promenade that is traffic free. Sun beds and umbrellas can be hired on the beach and an abundance of water sports are available. There are a number of restaurants and bars within easy access of the beach, as well as ice cream parlours and cafes, especially on Paguera’s main beach, Playa Palmira.
