A Fantastic Climate And Many Jaw Dropping Excursions...
on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It's the fantastic climate, world class dive sites, fabulous coral reefs and varied nightlife that makes the Red Sea such an exotic location. With just a 5 or 6 hour flight time from the UK and 35?c temperatures in the summer months, the Red Sea is becoming more and more popular with British tourists. Its moderate climate keeps visitors flocking there over our winter months too as temperatures usually stay in the early to mid 20's. The miles of sandy desert and rocky mountains create a stunning backdrop to the sparkling blue waters of its international beach fronts.
Holidays in the Red Sea offer the opportunity of taking advantage of some of the most wonderful dive sites in the world, with stunning marine life and even the odd shipwreck to explore, or for the slightly less adventurous, try snorkelling, minisubs or a glass bottomed boat ride to view the underwater wonder world. Excursions in the Red Sea resorts often revolve around the desert, with camel and horseback rides, quad biking or 4x4 adventures. A night out into a genuine Bedouin Camp can be arranged from most areas, where you'll be treated to an evening of Egyptian cuisine, dancing round the fireside and a chance to watch the sun set over the mountains, turning the whole panorama glorious shades of red. Then lie on your back and wonder at the millions of stars dancing above you and shooting through the night sky. An experience you will never ever forget.
Many of the hotels have their own sections of beach with jetties stretching far out into the sea, so those who don't want to dive can enjoy hours of fun snorkelling in the shallow clear blue waters, playing with the fish that dare to come so close. Trips to Cairo Luxor or Aswan can be booked in most resorts, although this can often mean an internal flight or overnight stay, definitely worth the experience though.
