The Best Beach On The Island
Son Bou holidays boast the chance of being able to bask one of the biggest and some would argue the best beach on Menorca. Sand dunes separate the beach from reality and offer shade and seclusion, with reed beds and marshes home to many birds and butterflies. Beach bars offer the necessary hospitality needed to never have to leave the beach all day. Jet skiing, water skiing, pedalos, canoes and inflatable rides are all available should you feel the need to do something a little more energetic on your holidays in Son Bou. If you wander towards the more secluded and quieter west end of the beach, be careful as you may just stumble across the unofficial nudist beach that is found here.
Son Bou is a relatively new resort and purpose built so hospitality here is as warm as the weather, with self catering villas being a popular choice for many, although the hotels do offer excellent family entertainment and kids clubs. Bars and restaurants offer a wide choice of Spanish and Menorcan cuisine, but you'll also find a fair share of fast food outlets to cater for every palette.
