Laganas is the largest of Zante's resorts and is well known as the party capital of the island, this town is extremely popular for young and lively holidays due to its many trendy well known night clubs, cocktail bars and a dazzling sandy beach offering every type of water sport imaginable.

Kalamaki is the neighbouring resort and only a stroll away but is much more relaxed with many families and couples choosing to base their holiday here so that they can sample both sides to the area. If you are looking for more traditional and laid back Zante holidays, head to Alikes or Alikanas, families flock to the beaches here as they are wide and clean. These two small resorts have a great selection of bars, tavernas and restaurants and plenty of souvenir shops.
