Aberdeen Airport has around 3.4 million passengers pass through each year making it the third busiest airport in Scotland.
The airport is served by more than 20 different airliners and has one main passenger terminal serving scheduled and charter holiday flights. It also has the busiest commercial heliport. The heliport is used for the Scottish offshore oil industry and helicopters can reach most platforms on both the east and west of Shetland areas.
Aberdeen Airport is located about seven miles north-west of the city centre and easily reached from the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road all of which is clearly signposted. There is a regular bus service from Aberdeen city centre to the airport and a rail link from Dyce station.
