Late Deals From Humberside
Humberside Airport was voted in 2010 the best European airport serving fewer than two million passengers annually.
The airport originally started out as a Royal Air Force base, RAF Kirmington, being home to 166 squadron of Lancaster bombers until the end of the World War ll. The site was abandoned until 1974 where the local council re-opened the site as Kirmington Airport. When the local government changed the area name to Humberside the airport was also named Humberside Airport.
Humberside Airport is located off the main A18 trunk road and is also just 3 miles away from Junction 5 of the M180. The stagecoach ‘Humber Flyer’ operates between Cleethorpes, Hull and Grimsby. The nearest train station is Barnetby Station which is located just three miles from the Airport.
