For the adventurous, try paragliding or take a fast ride round the bay on an inflatable fastened to a speed boat! The long stretch of promenade links the beaches together and boasts a huge choice of bars and restaurants, ensuring Palma Nova holidays are very varied. Accommodation is varied and has something to offer every budget, with all inclusive options giving a relaxing break or self catering apartments offering you the chance to sample the many menus, from vast international cuisine to fast food outlets.

Places to Visit

Valldemossa

Step back in time as you visit Majorca's oldest village. The Carthusian Monastery takes centre stage here, which once welcomed affluent guests including Polish composer Chopin. Concerts are still held throughout the summer in his honour.

Inca market

Inca is known as Majorca's 'leather town' and is also home to the largest market on the island which hits town every Thursday. It's also worth visiting a leather factory whilst you are here where you can buy quality souvenirs.

From Picasso and Cezanne to dolphins and sea lions!

The largest mini-golf course in Majorca can be found when you spend your holidays in Palma Nova. Golf Fantasia will keep adults and children amused for hours with over 50 quirky holes hidden amongst a tropical landscape. Take a boat trip from what used to be the original harbour and view the magnificent coastline from the sea. Aqualand Magaluf will make sure you have a splashing day out with rides for all the family. Go-karting gives the chance for a little competitive rivalry as you race round the track, Marineland at Portals Nous offers the chance to see dolphin and sea lion shows, or for an afternoon of culture, take a trip into the capital Palma to see the Museum of Modern Art with works by Picasso and Cezanne.

Wednesday is the day for bargains as the weekly market comes to town.
