The capital of the island, Mahon claims (amongst others) to have the second largest natural harbour in the world. It also boasts a gin distillery, some wonderful craft markets and quaint little pavement cafes.


Wander the cobbled streets of the islands old capital marvelling at the medieval architecture and Moorish designs. Gothic churches and the Town Hall Square sit among lavish palaces and taking a guided tour is a good way of making sure you don’t miss a thing.
