Places to Visit

Mount Teide

The highest point in Spain, Mount Teide defines Tenerife's imposing skyline and is often snow tipped in winter. You need a permit from the National Park to reach the very top, however the breathtaking views from nearby are definitely worth the effort of getting up there.

Lago de Martianez

Located to the north of the island, the Lago de Martianez, a vast saltwater lido is a huge attraction to this Tenerife holidays destination. With 8 pools, waterfalls, caves, bars and restaurants, it's a safe, friendly environment for the whole family to enjoy.

Siam Water Park

An oriental theme park in the south of the island, the little ones will love the Lost City while the dare devils head for the Tower of Power, just one of many adrenalin filled rides.

A north south divide

Holidays in Tenerife offer an abundance of fantastic hotels, guest houses and self catering apartments; there's something to suit every budget. The south of the island has a more desert like landscape. There are plenty of beautiful sandy beaches with dazzling clear seas.

Playa de las Americas is the party capital of Tenerife with many tourists staying here and its neighbouring resort Los Christianos. It is the largest tourist development on the island. The beaches are perfect for sunbathing and offer a wide range of water sports for the more adventurous. A promenade runs the length of the resort offering plenty of entertainment to keep you busy during your stay on the island from its open air bars and restaurants to karaoke bars and discos.

The north of the island is a lush tropical paradise with palm trees and banana plantations. Although cooler in temperature than the south it is still popular with tourists. The main resort of Puerto de la Cruz has an amazing stretch of beach backed by verdant gardens full of tropical plants.
