Wonderfully peaceful resort

The golden sandy beach and shallow clear waters are backed by a sea of olive groves and fresh smelling pine trees with a winding road trailing down to the beach. A stroll along the cliff tops will take you into a world of natural beauty and sedate seclusion, with only the wild tortoises for company. The inquisitive chirping of the birds as they swoop down to the colourful wild foliage is the only thing to break the silence.

Horse riding is popular on holidays in Arilas with the local stables offering lessons and treks into the lush green countryside. Take a boat trip along the coast or over to explore the neighbouring islands of Paxos or Kefalonia. Water sports are available for those with the energy to join in, with windsurfing and sailing favourites, or wander to nearby coves for a change of scenery.
