Lively and vibrant nightlife

The resort is famed for being a party capital with the 18 - 30 crowds from June to September. Holidays in Faliraki are also popular with families and couples. The beach is truly amazing with over three miles of golden sand that slips gently into the turquoise blue sea of the Mediterranean. An abundance of water sports including water skiing, banana boats, jet skiing and pedalos can be found along the beach. For those looking to relax and chill out, the quieter beaches of Kathara Bay or Anthony Quinn Beach are perfect and offer a bit a calm from the hustle and bustle. The beach runs parallel with the resort and offers plenty of beachside cafes serving a selection of drinks and snacks.

Away from the beach is Faliraki's water park which is one of the largest in Europe with an abundance of waterslides, giant jacuzzi, wave pool and lazy river, there is also dedicated children's area (where life vests are available free of charge). The water park is a perfect way to spend a fun filled day out for all the family young and old alike. There is also a go karting track and a fun fair (Luna Park) in the resort. You can also catch a taxi boat to one of the other beaches nearby.

As you would expect from this lively resort Faliraki has a wealth of water sports available, Water skiing, jet skiing, paragliding and banana boats are all available. The brave at heart can try the extreme sport of flying banana boats that will definitely get the adrenalin pumping.

Nightlife

Faliraki nightlife is of course legendary in the Mediterranean and this is one of the most vibrant party resorts in the Greek islands, 'Bar Street' and 'Club Street' is were all the action is so if its cocktails, karaoke or dancing the night away in one of the many clubs there is no shortage of places to party

With its family friendly water parks and bustling nightlife

When the sun goes down the resort starts to liven up and centres around Ermou known as bar street and Kalithea known as club street and is also home to some of the well known nightclubs including Bed and Liquid. Touts will try to lure you in for drinks with the most notorious being fishbowl cocktails where up to twenty people use straws to drink from the same bowl. There are also plenty of open air pubs offering karaoke and big screen TV. Outside the resort are a number of quieter bars where you can sip on a cocktail and watch the sun set.

Faliraki holidays don't disappoint when it comes to dining out as there's a wealth of restaurants to choose from including traditional Greek tavernas, British style pubs, steak houses, pizzerias and Indian Restaurants. The resort also has one of the few McDonald's on the Greek Islands. There are plenty of local handicraft shops, high street fashions stores and convenience stores around the resort that stay open late at night and Faliraki Bay north has a shopping mall. There are numerous self catering apartment and guest houses offering value for money as well as luxury hotels offering half board and all inclusive.
