Sant Agnello holidays offer a taste of the real Italy away from the hustle and bustle of some of the larger towns yet near enough to Sorrento so you are never far away from its shops and livelier bars and restaurants. The beach at Sant Agnello may be small but it is perfectly formed, hugging the rocky coastline, overlooked by spectacular cliffs and quieter than most of its neighbours even during the peak summer season. There are steps and an elevator down the steep incline and on a clear day you can even see the imposing Mount Vesuvius looming in the distance. There are shower and toilet facilities plus a couple of refreshment stalls; all you need for the perfect day at the beach on holidays to Sant Agnello. For a change of scenery, Punta Sant Elia is just along the coast and a few miles to the north lies the Bay of Leranto with small green islets and a quaint Italian harbour.
