Daytrip to Antalya

Antalya is the region’s capital, an hour’s drive west along the coast. Here you can immerse yourself in Turkish history and culture. This vibrant city has a chic and contempary harbour lined with tea gardens, bars and restaurants with the old town of Kaleici winding up the hill.

The wonderfully preserved old town is a maze of cobbled lanes enclosed by Roman walls. Many of the Ottoman-style houses have been converted into boutiques and pretty cafes. The area offers dramatic clifftop views of the Roman-era harbour and distant, hazy mountains.
