Turkler's big attraction is its shoreline
Turkler is the shrinking violet of the Turkish Riviera. Set twenty kilometres from Alanya this place has always kept itself out of the spotlight, and the result is a stretch of coastline that's uncrowded and relatively low key.
Like many resorts on Turkey's southern coast, Turkler's nerve centre is its wonderful beaches a mixture of white sand and pebbles, and there are plenty of sunloungers on the sands. If you want to explore further than the water's edge, head to the little harbour. Boat trips leave from here every day, taking holidaymakers to some of the best snorkelling and swimming spots along the coast. Turkler's cuisine takes its cue from the sea, too. Fresh fish restaurants are the norm rather than the exception here. Many of them serve up sunset scenes alongside the seabream and sardines.
