The Sunshine State

Stay in a choice of historic homely inns, luxury hotels or the more popular family friendly hotels and guest houses, as we can guarantee you will hardly be in your room.

The only problem with holidays in Florida is where do you start? There are hundreds of manmade attractions on offer and if its theme parks you want then the best place to be is Orlando. An ideal base for central Florida attractions, there is some excellent value accommodation in Lake Bueno, Kissimmee or International Drive, and you're right on the doorstep for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Disney MGM Studios, Epcot Space Centre, and Magic Kingdom, the list is endless. If you prefer a beach base then over on the west coast you'll find the stunning sands at Clearwater and St Petersburg; also home to the Salvador Dali Museum and the magical Busch Gardens at Tampa Bay.

On the east coast you can relax at the fabulous Cocoa Beach, then visit the J.F. Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral, seeing the actual launch pad that launches the space shuttles and discovering exactly what it takes to become an astronaut. New Smyrna Beach slightly further north is reckoned to be the best in Florida, with Daytona Beach just below and St Augustine, the oldest city in Florida with over five hundred years of history on display just close by.
