There’s a focus on wellbeing at TUI BLUE For Families hotels. The Healthy Eating Challenge encourages youngsters to try new foods. There are professionally run swimming lessons. Plus, family wellbeing classes help you to relax while practising mindfulness.

Overview

Playa Flamingo Beach is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. It’s got a paved promenade behind it that’s pushchair-friendly, and the shoreline’s sheltered from big waves by a breakwater. For an extra dose of fun, you’ll find a waterpark* 10 minutes’ stroll away.

Pools

Little ones are spoilt for choice pool-wise. Along with separate swimming spots for children and babies, there’s a splash park that comes complete with slides, a waterfall palm tree and a tilting bucket.

Pool Scene

The main pool is a big, curvy number, surrounded by loungers and parasols. Then you’ve got a second pool that’s designed for activities, like water polo, and a third that’s reserved for chilling out.

Food & Drink

There are three restaurants at this hotel. The go-to spot is the buffet restaurant, which comes with a section specifically for kids’ dishes. There are big tables designed for groups, plus quieter, adults-only areas.

Ask Guest Relations about the Children’s Healthy Eating Challenge – little ones are given stickers to add to their lanyard for every new healthy dish they try.

Entertainment

Little ones are well catered for, thanks to the BabyClub* for tots’ playtime. There are also kids’ clubs for 3 to 11-year-olds and The Hangout for teens.

In the early evening, there are games and shows dedicated to little ones – they feature our loveable TUI BLUE For Families mascot, Captain T the dog. Later, our resident show cast take to the stage.

Sports & Activities

Kids can meet Captain T the dog, our loveable mascot, in fun character parades. There are also Swim School* sessions, plus more grown-up options like tennis and football.

Try a fusion of yoga and dance in TUI FlowTheBeat, our new group fitness class. There are also Aqua Fitness sessions, plus #BLUEf!t^®ForFamilies – a weekly workout event tailored for the whole family.

Health & Beauty

There are parent and baby wellbeing sessions for under 3s, as well as family wellbeing sessions for all ages. They focus on mindfulness, using yoga poses, play and relaxation techniques.

Massages*, facials* and body scrubs* are on the treatment list in the spa. You can also unwind in the sauna or go for a workout at the gym.

Facility Overview

The trio of pools means you’ve got a large, lagoon-like number, one for activities and another one for relaxing. There are also shallow swimming spots for babies and children. On the dining front, a buffet restaurant and two à la cartes are on the cards. Yoga, football and water polo are all on the activities agenda, and there are kids’ clubs for all different age groups. After dark, family-friendly shows kick into gear.
