This place notches up five big pools, one of which has a swim-up bar. Kids get their own pool, too, which comes with a splash park and pirate ship.
In the kids’ splash park you’ll find a handful of slides and chutes. And the whole thing’s ringed by a lazy river. The three large slides are for the over 10s, who need to be over the height of 1.2metres to the shoulder. Kids over six can use the smaller slide, as long as they clear 0.9metres shoulder height.
There are five restaurants at this hotel – the main one's a buffet, and lays on everything from sushi to roast dinners. And for dinner, you get a triple helping of à la carte venues. Plus there's the Cosmopolitan restaurant, if you stay in a Deluxe room.
The à la cartes are all themed – one deals in American dishes, one has a Med-inspired menu, and one serves up Greek specialities. Plus, you'll get to dine in each an á la carte once per stay as part of the All Inclusive offering. As for bars, there are seven to pick from.
As well as live music and shows, you’ve got a handful of bars to pick from after dark, including an Irish bar. There’s also a mini-cinema for movie sessions.
Kids can play at a full line-up of HV Clubs, which range from HV Creche for tots aged 0 to 35 months, to HV Crew for teenagers.
Budding tennis players can access one tennis court, plus there’s a multi-sports court and an astroturf for footie matches. You’ve also got an Aerial Adventure course, and watery activities like canoeing and raft-building.
There are four outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a kids’ pool that comes with waterslides and an adventure park. Back on dry land, activities include football, volleyball and an Aerial Adventure course. There are five restaurants to pick from, including an Italian, an American and a Greek place, plus the Cosmopolitan restaurant if you book a Deluxe area room.
There are things like archery and volleyball. Or you can have a go at aeroball – that’s basketball on a trampoline to you and me. Football, stage and swim academies* bulk up the activities list, too.
The plush spa* comes complete with a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi®, and there’s a pampering list that ticks off massages*, facials* and beauty treatments*. There’s also a small gym.
