Framed by sand dunes and hugging Praia de Salines Beach, the Riu Karamboa is a great choice for an away-from-it-all escape.
Everything else – from the suite rooms with their separate lounge areas, to the sprawling pool area – also lives up to the hotel’s five-star standards. You’ll find four restaurants, a spa, activities for adults and children alike, and shows after dark. Plus, you can make use of the All Inclusive 24 hours a day.
While you're away, you can speak to us anytime - we're available 24/7 via the TUI App. You can also reach us by phone and SMS if you prefer. The easy-to-use TUI App is packed with info and tips. It sends you important updates, like your airport transfer times. Download the TUI App for free from the App Store or Google Play - if you switch on notifications, we'll be able to keep you updated.
There's a large swimming pool here. It’s got a built-in whirlpool bath and a handy swim-up bar, and is framed with terraces studded with palms and sunbeds.
Praia de Salines Beach is this hotel’s next door neighbour. Its flat sands roll out for miles, encountering tiny beach bars and top snorkelling spots on the way.
There’s plenty of choice on the food front, with an international buffet and three themed restaurants to pick from. The latter specialise in Asian, African and Cape Verdian cuisine.
Stained glass and spiralling columns characterise the Morabeza bar. The other five bars are equally grand, especially the swim-up one with its triple-domed roof.
Entertainment-wise, shows, a nightclub and a karaoke bar are among your options after dark. Children are catered for, too, thanks to the RiuLand kids' club.
You can get crafty during an art class, or work on your fitness by signing up for one of the group exercise sessions. There are also courts for tennis and volleyball, plus a playground for children. And over at the pool, beginners can give scuba diving* lessons a go.
For something in the way of relaxation, book a massage or a moisturising body wrap at the hotel’s spa*.
The large swimming pool comes complete with in-water sun loungers, a swim-up bar and a pool for children – it's all fringed by terraces topped with sunbeds and parasols. The hotel offers shows or live music every evening to keep you entertained. And, on the dining front, you've got a buffet plus three speciality restaurants.
