View-seekers are well-catered for at the Club Alla Turca – it's set in flowering gardens, and tree-topped mountains provide the backdrop as you go for a dip in the pool.

If you’re after a sand-and-sea day, head for Iztuzu Beach. It unfurls for nearly five kilometres, and comes with photo album-worthy views. It’s a 20-minute taxi ride to get there, or take a river boat from the town and you can catch a glimpse of the ancient city of Caunos as you motor past.

Pools

The lounger-framed pool’s a great size, and comes crowned by a pretty arched bridge. There’s a hot tub and a fountain, too. Younger guests have a paddling pool to themselves. For daytime nibbles, make a beeline for the snack bar – it’s got steps leading straight into the water.

Food & Drink

The breakfast buffet has garnered first-rate reviews – especially the honey pancakes. You’ll also find cereals and cooked-to-order eggs. In the evenings, a meze selection of soups, salads and meat skewers are laid out.

For lunch, head to the poolside snack bar. The chicken wraps are really popular, and there’s an ice-cream station for afters.

Entertainment

It’s a low-key situation here. The poolside bar plays music in the evenings, so it’s a great spot to relax with a cocktail. If you’re after a late night, stroll for 10 minutes to the town’s collection of pubs and jazz bars.

Facility Overview

A spacious pool sits at the heart of this place, edged by sunbeds and shade-giving parasols. A hot tub’s perched on one side, and there’s a small circular pool for children, as well. The nearby snack bar deals in light bites and lunches. For breakfast and dinner, meanwhile, head to the buffet restaurant. It comes with show-cooking stations, and throws a Turkish-themed night once a fortnight. If you’re feeling active, try your hand at table tennis.
