This cliff-top hotel is a real get-away-from-it-all place – you’ve just got the surrounding banana groves and the Atlantic Ocean below for company. When you want to get out and about, though, there’s a bus stop outside.

The hotel comes with seven pools, some of which have sea views. All of them serve up views of the ocean, while one has a manmade beach attached to it. There’s a poolside snack spot, too.
At the main buffet restaurant, the lavish spread includes lots of local fish, and desserts made from island-grown bananas. For a taste of Spanish and Canarian cuisine, try the speciality restaurant*.
You can get a late breakfast at La Choza. It’s a fantastic venue – you dine on the poolside terrace and you can hear the waves breaking on the cliffs below.
You’ve got a real mix on the entertainment front. You'll find live music, discos and shows most evenings in the disco bar.
The piano bar is a chilled-out place for pre-dinner drinks or cocktails later –the sound of a pianist adds to the relaxed vibe.
There’s a good range of activities, with tennis*, archery and volleyball to name just a few. And with so many pools, there are lots of water-based activities too.
There’s a perimeter walk around the complex. It takes about 40 minutes and brings with it first-rate views.
The hotel has a spa*, and a real treat here is the thermal circuit, which comes with underwater walkways, water jets and whirlpools. There are lots of treatments*, too, such as facials, massages and body wraps.
You get seven pools at this hotel. They’re picturesque, too, with little bridges and views over the sea and surrounding mountains. There’s a pool bar for drinks, while meals come courtesy of a buffet restaurant and a Spanish place. There’s also a poolside pizzeria. The sports line-up includes five tennis courts, and for relaxation, there’s the spa.
