This place offers two big pools and easy access to the beach. And pretty Puerto Mogan is just down the road.
You’re a 10-minute walk from the beach, where the waters are calm, shallow and child-friendly. And it’s the same distance to Puerto Mogan’s harbour, known as Little Venice for its bridges and pretty buildings.

Both pools are huge, and have whirlpool baths and views of the surrounding hills. There are lots of loungers, which come with comfy mattresses. There’s also a separate children’s pool.
The pool bar serves drinks, as well as snacks like toasties. There’s waiter service – there’s a bell on the menu card and, when you press it, the staff will come and take your order.
There are two buffet restaurants. The main one’s huge, with all sorts of different food stations, and chefs cook fresh fish and steak to order. And from here there are views over waterfalls and gardens.
There’s an à la carte restaurant, which offers a fusion of traditional and modern Canarian cuisine. TripAdvisor reviewers recommend the tasting menu.
In the lower bar there are shows six times a week. Often you might see flamenco dancing or a tribute band. There’s another bar that’s open late, as well as a mini disco for children.
There’s a disco, or you can always walk to the harbour, which has a clutch of upmarket bars and restaurants. It’s about a 5-minute walk.
There are daily fitness classes here, like aqua aerobics, while on dry land there are tennis courts* and a gym*.
There’s a bike centre where you can arrange bike hire*. A guide will also give you a tour of the hotel’s tropical gardens, where there are giant chess boards and reading areas.
The hotel has a spa, where you can book in for treatments. There’s also a hydrotherapy pool, a saltwater flotation pool, a steam room and a sauna.
When it comes to pools, you’ve got two to choose between. Both are huge, but the higher pool is the quiet one, and has lots of trees for shade. The lower pool is where you’ll find the games, and activities like water polo and aqua aerobics. Wander around the grounds, meanwhile, and you’ll come across an archaeological site.
