The hotel’s got a prime spot in the Madinat Makadi complex, so you’ve got loads of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. There’s a private sandy beach 5 minutes’ walk away, too.

Just so you know, some of the slides here may be too big for younger visitors. The larger slides have a height restriction of 120cm and minimum age restriction of 10 years. The mini slides and water features have an age restriction of either 4 or 7 years and children must have an adult with them.

Pools

The waterpark has slides for the whole crew – including thrillers like the Wave Slide and the Turbo Tunnel – and a special area just for little ‘uns who prefer arm bands to fast rides.

Pool Scene

The hotel tots up 5 pools, including an activity pool where you’ll find water polo and aqua aerobics going on. There’s a shaded kids’ pool, too, plus the beach is only a 5-minute walk away.

Food & Drink

A pair of buffet restaurants line up local and international dishes, plus there’s a handful of à la cartes* – Sofra majors in Egyptian dishes, while Makai Tukai serves Asian favourites like sweet and sour chicken.

The beach and pool bars sort out snacks, while there's a bar to sample shisha.

Entertainment

After dark, the line-up is pretty low-key, with cabarets, live music and dancing, and weekly folklore shows. Kids get a mini-disco 6 times a week.

Sports & Activities

There’s sporty stuff to try, like basketball as well as more laid-back activities like billiards, shuffleboard and table tennis. You can learn to belly dance, too.

Facility Overview

The big talking point at this place is the awesome waterpark just down the road. It’s got loads of seriously impressive slides – and, best of all, you get free access. If you’d rather take things at a slower pace, check out the spa – it’s got a whopping 23 treatment rooms. As for restaurants, you’ve got 4 à la cartes, plus a couple of buffet places.
