The Sahara Beach has a private swathe of sand and an action-packed pool scene that includes an aqua park.
This hotel doesn’t hold back when it comes to greenery. The grounds are filled with well-preened lawns and a botanical garden, where you might be able to spot native birds. Mixed into it all, you’ll find a few pools and an aqua park.

You’ll need to pay a hotel tax on arrival. It’s 2 Tunisian Dinars per person per night for 3-star hotels, and 3 Tunisian Dinars per person per night for 4 and 5-star hotels. It applies to everyone aged 12 and over, and you’ll only have to pay this for a maximum of seven nights, even if you’re staying longer.
There’s a pool for every occasion here. You can play games of water polo in the activity pool and take in coastal views during a dip in the beachfront number. There’s also an indoor option and a spot just for grown-ups.
Elsewhere, the aqua park lines up a handful of racing slides and twisting chutes. And you’re free to flake out on the private beach – it’s stocked with sunbeds, umbrellas and a couple of bars.
The buffet restaurant serves a variety of international and Tunisian dishes, like chickpea stews, couscous, meaty kebabs and chips. The Italian à la carte*, meanwhile, deals in pasta, pizza and lasagne.
You’ll need two hands to count all of the bars. There are 12 in total and they're dotted around the hotel in the lobby, on the beach, in the nightclub and by the pools. Coffee and cakes are on the menu at the café.
Toddlers, children and teens each have their own hangout spots, all with special lists of games and activities. There are also a couple of playgrounds, complete with swings, seesaws and slides.
In the evening, the whole family can let loose on the nightclub’s dancefloor.
You’ve got loads of activities to try out, like beach volleyball, ping pong, minigolf, archery and basketball. Plus, there’s a games room that’s fitted with air hockey* and pool tables*, and arcade machines*.
Down on the beach, banana boat rides*, water-skiing* and parasailing* headline the to-do list.
When you’re not working up a sweat on the gym’s treadmills and weight machines, you can book massages* in the spa. There’s a salon, too, that offers haircuts* and beauty treatments*.
There's a handful of pools at this place, along with a slide-filled aqua park and a private beach. When hunger strikes, you can help yourself to international and Tunisian fare at the buffet, or tuck in to Italian dishes at the à la carte. Lighter bites and drinks are available at 12 bars. Three kids’ clubs line up games and activities for children and teenagers, while grown-ups can kick back in the spa.
