Just so you know, there can be a wait in Split harbour to get the ferry.

Bluesun Hotel Borak has secured a winning location on the island – it’s just a pebble’s throw from the Adriatic Sea and one of Brac’s most photographed beaches.

All that separates this place from the pretty pebbly Borak Beach is a tree-lined avenue. The turquoise water's ideal for swimming. But if you’d rather stay dry, you can enjoy the view from the hotel’s beachfront restaurant, too.

The pool's framed by a deck that’s stocked with loungers and white-and-blue parasols. There’s a bar just beside it, as well as a separate pool for little ones.

Food & Drink

The main restaurant lays on a buffet of local and international dishes at breakfast and dinnertime. There are also show-cooking stations where you can watch the chefs whip up your food. And if you get peckish between meals, there’s a snack menu on offer, too.

You’ll find Restaurant Borak down on the beach. It’s open for lunch and snacks during the day. By night, it becomes an al fresco dinner spot with live music. The menu features Dalmatian specialities like freshly grilled seafood, accompanied by local wine.

After-dark entertainment takes the form of live music and dancing. There are also quiz and karaoke nights. If you’re looking for a more laidback evening, head to Bolero, a pine-tree cloaked bar that mixes up signature cocktails.

Sports & Activities

There are plenty of activities to get involved with. Dip your toes into the watersports* on the beach. Windsurfing, sailing and diving are on the cards. Practise your serve on the tennis courts, or take part in beach volleyball and basketball matches.

You can hire bikes from the hotel to explore the local area. There are also hiking trails you can follow if you’d prefer to leave the wheels behind. Little ones can join in with arts and crafts and games at the kids’ club, or run around in the playground.

Health & Beauty

There’s no spa here, but you can use the facilities* at the sister hotel next door – Bluesun Elaphusa. There are lots of therapies* on offer, including their signature treatment, during which the masseuse uses fresh seawater, mineral-rich sea mud and sand to pamper your skin. There’s also a gym there.

Facility Overview

This place has a large outdoor pool and a smaller one for kids. When it comes to sports, you’ve got tennis, volleyball and football.
