From above, the pool scene looks like a jigsaw puzzle of curvy blue pieces. There are lots of different sections, split up by palm tree-dotted walkways and sunbathing zones.

When you’re not lounging on an inflatable in the pool, hit the waterpark. Its colourful collection of slides looks like a handful of jelly snakes and includes chutes, flumes and a U-shaped slide to ride dinghies in.

You’ve got a buffet restaurant, six à la carte eateries, a bistro and a patisserie, plus a snack bar that’s open from 10pm until 2am – ideal for late-night nibbles. Eight different bars have you sorted for drinks, too.

The six à la carte restaurants* include a Greek place called Turquoise*, a steak house called The Red*, and a Far Eastern place – Sakamai* – which specialises in rice, noodles and seafood.

Entertainment

Evenings kick off with games and mini-discos for children, followed by live shows, music and dance performances. Afterwards, pop in to the hotel’s nightclub to dance to big hitting songs.
