Two, lagoon-like pools face the cream-coloured beach. They’re joined by a pair of just-for-adults numbers and a children’s pool. And waiters will bring drinks or snacks over to your lounger from the beach and poolside bars.
Dining is this hotel’s strong suit. On top of two buffet restaurants, there are six à la cartes to choose from – some backed by Michelin-starred chefs. They range from Greek and Italian to French and Asian.
The hotel’s wine collection includes 300 different labels – you can order a bottle in one of the à la carte restaurants or one of the many bars.
Ten bars are on hand for a laidback drink – the SEA lobby bar even stays open ‘til 2am. Alternatively, you can pull up a seat at the Ikos Theatre for a show or a film screening.
There’s a daily rota of activities, like Greek dance lessons, aqua aerobics and volleyball. Or you can serve up on the floodlit tennis courts. For a little extra, there’s a football academy*, scuba diving* and boat tours*.
Little ones are well looked after at the kids’ club. It’s got an indoor and outdoor agenda, organising things like T-shirt painting, cookie-making, treasure hunts and picnics. There’s a crèche and a club for teens, too.
The spa adds another pool to the count. This one comes with a hot tub, plus there’s a thermal suite with a steam room and a sauna. You can book in for a massage*, haircut* or manicure* here, as well.
It’s the dining scene that stands out here. There are six, globe-covering à la cartes, as well as two buffets. And the activity bill's just as packed, with dance lessons, volleyball, tennis and yoga. Meanwhile, little ones can check into the kids’ club. Pool-wise, you’ve got two by the beach, plus adults-only and kids’ options. Or you can wind down at the spa. As for evenings, you can look forward to kids’ mini-discos, movie screenings and live shows.
