Facilities aside, this place has hit the jackpot with its location. It's just across the promenade from Cefalu's long sandy beach, which means sea views from the lobby, the pool terrace and the café.

Pools

Curvy white sunloungers surround the outdoor pool. It's set in flower-lined gardens, and comes with vistas of the Mediterranean Sea.

Food & Drink

The café-cum-restaurant serves Continental breakfasts in the morning. It's a stylish space with a black marble floor, a 3D-effect counter and lights that look like upside-down martini glasses.

Pastries and sandwiches are on the menu during the day, and there's a gelato bar, too. Seating's split between indoor tables and a shady sea-view patio.

Entertainment

If you fancy an evening tipple, there are plenty of bars within 10 minutes' walk of this place. Back at base, the café doubles up as a low-key bar at night.
