Tropical gardens and a curvy pool hit the mark at the Coral Teide Mar Apartments in Puerto de la Cruz.
The apartments were revamped in 2017 with up-to-the-minute decor. The whole place has a modern feel, including the buffet restaurant. And a lagoon-style pool's stashed away in a salad-green garden setting.

Kick back by the pool – it’s flanked by palm trees and flowerbeds studded with gem-coloured blooms. Children get their own splash pool. And an outdoor bar keeps drinks topped up throughout the day.
The buffet restaurant majors in international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are two bars as well – one’s by the pool, the other opens in the evenings for fruity cocktails.
A lobby bar hosts occasional nights of live music, but otherwise things stay pretty quiet here. Head to Puerto de la Cruz’s harbour for a wide choice of drinking holes.
If you want to break up stints of sunbathing, there’s a pair of tennis courts tucked away in the gardens.
The Coral Teide Mar Apartments boast a pretty garden setting, complete with a big pool. Kids get their own splash area and an outdoor playground. You’ve got a buffet restaurant to take care of mealtimes, plus two bars for drinks. And the occasional music night livens things up.
