The glorious year round weather

Paralimni and Pernera are little villages on the outskirts of Protaras, and although somewhat like an extension of Protaras they have their own tavernas that you can go to and enjoy a traditional meal, although for a much wider choice of eateries and bars go into the centre of Protaras itself. The glorious year round weather can be enjoyed still further by participating in the water sports at the beach, which are said to be the best on the island or by taking a trip to the nearby water park, a place that families will love.

Travel past ancient ruins to reach the vibrant nearby resort of Ayia Napa, where you’ll be able to enjoy the incredible nightlife until the early hours. Protaras holidays are exhilarating, yet relaxing and will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again after your stay! Book holidays to Protaras online here at

Places to Visit

Fig Tree Bay

– This beautiful sheltered bay is surrounded by soft golden sand and a sparkling turquoise sea. The gently shelving beach is ideal for families and has been awarded Blue Flag status. There are an abundance of water sports available here too.

Cape Greko

– The stunning sea caves are easily accessible for adventure seekers, you can climb down to sea level at the east end of the cliff and walk close to the walls. For those who are afraid of clambering over the rocks to climb down, there is an easier way, just jump off the cliffs into the water, which is quite deep and crystal clear.
